I read Boost because one of my friends ,Peyton M. It was very interesting, it was about a girl my age, 13 and she was 6 foot 2 inches, and she played Basketball. I thought looked like a very good book. So I went to the plublic library and saw it their and got it.

She and her family move to Rhode Island where she meets a girl named Nina Gonzalez or "Gonzo" who becomes her best friend. They both try out for the local basketball team for players who are around eighteen. This book is about a girl who is in 8th grade and moves from new mexico and her name is savvy and she now lives in new york. Her sister callie is in high school and is on the cheer leading team. Nobody knows who put them in her bag, but people know that savvy did not own the pills. If you enjoy sports with a little humor and romance and mystery then i definitly recommend this book! The author Kathy Mackel says that she has played many sports so i think that is really cool!
